新竹在地藝術家,她的創作透過髮絲柔細平滑的特質,造就了細緻、互相交織牽連的畫面。以水墨與膠彩相互融合後富含水氣以及溫潤的感覺、礦物顏料中的細微反光,為作品增添了難得的氣質,同時表達著心中的千頭萬緒,也形成柔美的繪畫色彩及細膩的創作語彙。 Ya Han Lin is a local artist of Hsinchu. Through the smooth lines of hair, her creations make the exquisite and woven scenes. She mixed the ink and the nihonga together, and creates a moist and hydrated effect, while the slight reflections of mineral pigments all add to the unique temperament of the work. Her works express the complex and abstract sensations that are inexpressible through words, and form the soft colors and delicate creative vocabulary. 創作自述 頭髮任誰都在乎,每每整理儀容時都會梳理一番,家中姊妹之間經常相互梳頭、編髮,使得對於頭髮的觸感以及編髮的動作有著濃厚的情感記憶。透過描繪髮絲姿態,傳達自我的內在感受,如髮絲的糾結是種具體現象、心思的糾結是無形的抽象。

為了更深入了解頭髮而曾到髮廊實習,在實習過程中對於髮絲的結構與色彩有更深的認知,亦觀察到更多樣的人與髮之間的細微情感,這些經驗豐富了對髮絲的想像延伸以及創作上所使用的語彙。 All people care about their hair, we comb our hair when we make ourselves clean. Because sisters often comb the hair and braid hairstyle for each other, the artist has strong emotional memories about the touch of hair and the action of braiding. The creations can convey the inner feeling of self through depicting hair, just like the tangled hair is the specific phenomenon and the tangled mind is the invisible abstraction.

In order to learn more about hair, Ya Han Lin had internship in hair-salon. In the course of internship, she had the deeper understanding of the structure and color of hair, and observed the more kinds of subtle emotions between people and hair. These experiences have enriched her extent imagination of hair and the art vocabulary in her creations.

將墨的潑灑視為極為情緒化的動作,這種不構想任何草圖、不預設任何意念,任由墨在畫上自由流動,使自己在創作的當下,脫離傳統繪畫習慣,依著當下直覺行事,諸多情緒傾瀉於畫面上。等墨全乾或半乾之際,順著潑灑出的有機形體中,慢慢地用髮絲結構畫面,是一種感性與理性的紀錄。 Ya Han Lin takes spilling ink as a emotional action, which doesn’t conceive any sketches and presuppose any ideas. She let the ink flow freely in the painting, so that she can break away from the habits of traditional painting, act according to intuition and let off some steam on the picture. When the ink become dry or semi-dry, she paint hair along with the organism spilled out to structure the picture, and it is a kind of emotional and rational record.
